Sports Massage
Sports massage differs from any other type of massage in that the treatment should
be done preferably before an injury occurs.
Massage for conditioning muscles before activity and preventing or
reducing lameness following activity. If muscles spasm often then the
muscles are not in condition.
Pre-conditioning Massage
Gain 20% performance. Pre-conditioning prepares muscles for exertion. This
treatment is carried out 1 day before the particular event. This is a stimulation
massage to prepare the body for the work it is about to undertake.
Post Event Massage
This treatment is carried out after the sport has been completed and is a very
relaxing massage which rids the body of toxins and lactic acid which have
built up in the muscle tissue during physical activity. |
